Solar Assistant can be used with this inverter for monitoring only (connect to the USB socket with supplied cable), But there is a good chance that the inverter will reject most setting changes from SolarAssistant and also the official WatchPower or SolarPower app. When investigating one of these units, we confirmed that the firmware the inverter is loaded with does not support changing settings via the communication ports.
This hybrid inverter is also suitable for 48V flooded and sealed GEL/AGM lead-acid batteries with pre-defined charging programs. A user-defined battery type with numerous customisable settings is also available for charging other battery types including Lithium without battery communications.
It is possible to parallel 6 units together to increase output, each unit has a built in parallel kit ready to connect up
