The 5kW Inverter 19.2kWh Pack is a comprehensive solution for any off-grid application. It is suitable for any area, but also suits those with limited or zero access to traditional mains power. This hybrid inverter features a zero-transfer time Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). It is a great option where the power supply is unreliable, intermittent or expensive to maintain. The 5kW Inverter Advanced Pack is great for both stationary and mobile off-grid installations. Whether you have a remote property, holiday home, huts, cabin, narrowboat or yacht it works. You can additionally maintain an IT system requiring continuous operation in case of power failure. Many customers looking to reduce their mains electricity usage and save on electricity bills also like this system. It could create the perfect back-up system in locations suffering from frequent power cuts. Also remember this inverter is completed with a MPTT solar charger.

Please note we do not use the communication from the inverter to the batteries with the kits as the internal BMS takes care of the charge limits.

Please note this “pack” does not contain any mains connection accessories, battery isolators or any type of fusing / protection. These will need to be provided by the installer. The battery cables are standard 25mm2 cables supplied with each battery and may not be satisfactory for the battery bank (depending on how this is wired)

  • 5000W 48V Pure sine wave inverter- Converts DC current into 230V AC mains electricity, which runs household appliances including a TV, laptop, fridge, microwave and lighting. It is able to generate 5000W of continuous power with a strong peak power handling capability of up to 10000VA. This is sufficient to start appliances with electric motors such as pumps, a vacuum cleaner and power tools. This inverter is a pure sine wave type, which easily surpasses modified sine wave inverters in terms of efficiency. It is also compatible with a wider range of appliances.
  • Inbuilt 80A MPPT Solar charge controller- The high efficiency MPPT controller regulates the input from the solar panels to the batteries or to load. It has a full range of safety functions including protection against overcharge, overheating and reverse current. The controller operates at up to 98% efficiency to extract the maximum possible power from the solar array.
  • Enhanced 60A Smart battery charger- Designed to enable safe, efficient and fast (up to 60A) unattended charging of a battery. This is from a mains power source or generator, with full overcharge protection and multiple charging stages.
  • UPS zero transfer time- Offers instant 0ms transfer from mains to battery mode when mains power is interrupted. The normal speed of transfer for other inverters is 15-20ms, so this is a significant improvement. This improved UPS functionality allows critical IT loads like computers and servers to operate continuously in case of power failures.
  • Rack-compatible design- The construction of the inverter case allows it to be easily slotted into a rack. It therefore allows convenient installation of multiple inverters or rack-compatible battery systems into one unit.
  • System expansion potential- This inverter firstly has the ability to be connected in parallel with additional identical units to a maximum total of 9. It then offers the possibility of large-scale system expansion, with up to 45kW of power handling capability. Once connected in parallel, there is the option for 3-phase operation. Use the system to power industrial grade equipment and machinery which can run on 3 phase. Each inverter you connect in the system will require a parallel kit (sold separately).
  • Inbuilt Wi-Fi connectivity- The wi-fi function allows you to monitor the inverter remotely using the Watchpower app from the Apple app store or the Watchpower Wi-Fi app from the Google Play store. So, download the app and pair your mobile device with the inverter to gain access to important information. This includes solar, battery, AC, voltage, charging current and battery capacity.
